For a very long time, the Copper River Native Association, which is only one of several locations in the Copper River Valley where you can get tested for Covid-19, listed that there were 'zero' positive cases that they'd found in their testing over a period of many weeks.
Then, suddenly, on June 26, there were two positive cases discovered by CRNA. One of them was discovered with a patient at the Tazlina Robert Marshall facility, and one of them was in Cantwell.
