There Ain't No "Blessings" In This Social Media Scam!

A pyramid scheme called "The Blessing Loom" has been circulating throughout the state. And the Alaska Department of Law wants you to know that it's a scam, that it'll end up stealing your money – and that you should NOT respond to it.

The Blessing Loom comes in on social media. It asks you to provide a "blessing" of from $100 to $1,500, and to find two new members, promising you'll get 8 times back on your investment. This is what is commonly known as an "Illegal Pyramid Scheme". It's illegal, because it's theft. Do not respond to the scam.
