CRSD Put Out Major Bulletins To Local Families During COVID-19 Outbreak

NOVEMBER 2ND COVID-19 RISK LEVEL UPDATE

The Copper River School District has currently transitioned into the high risk (red) level. We have determined this based on the current number of students and staff who have tested positive for COVID-19 or who have been in direct contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

Our school campuses will be closed to students and community member for this week (November 2nd-November 6th). Our Health Advisory Committee is keeping a close eye on positive cases in the community as well as staff and student numbers. This will help us to determine when we will need to transition to another risk level.

Remote learning for students will commence tomorrow (November 3rd). Families are being reached out to today from the school about how to connect to teachers tomorrow.

NOVEMBER 2ND GLENNALLEN ELEMENTARY UPDATE

Thank you to all of you who attended Parent/Teacher Conferences remotely! If you missed your appointment, please call Mrs. Sondergaard at 822-3232 or email your teacher to reschedule. This afternoon also has time set aside for conferences so you might be able to conference with your teacher today!

Due to staff members being in quarantine, we will have remote school from Tuesday through Friday. Chromebooks will be available for pick-up today from 3-5PM at the GES Office.

Keep your computer on mute when you are not talking
Keep your normal bedtime and mealtime routine in place

We are in this together and continue to value the education of all our students."
