CRNA Reported That Local Covid Cases Are At 258


The number of COVID cases in the Copper Valley went to 258 on April 16th. 

On April 9th, 2021, CRNA reported the new cases of COVID-19 had been reported in the Copper Valley in
the previous week. This was a good sign. CRNA and other Copper Valley medical services are offering vaccines to all Copper Valley residents 18 and over.

On April 2nd, 2021, only one local person in the previous week was reported as contracting COVID in the Copper Valley. The total number of cases for the year was listed in  early April as 256.  The Copper River Native Association showed an apparent slowing down of transmission for the week. 

Earlier, on Friday, March 26th, 2021, CRNA reported the consortium of service providers in the region had discovered a total of 7 new cases in the past week, totaling 255 cases for the year since local records began.

On Tuesday, March 23rd, the State of Alaska reported three new COVID positive tests in the Copper River Census Area. 

On March 19th, 2021, the Copper River Native Association reported that CRNA, Cross Road Medical and Mount Sanford Tribal had reported in the Regional Data Report an additional 2 new cases of Covid-19 in the region in the last 7 days.
