Two Days After Stimulus Bill Was Signed, Alaska Banks Were Emailing Customers That Money Was Arriving

 Stimulus Bill Signed On Thursday; Money Entered Some Accounts Saturday 

On Thursday afternoon, March 11th (Eastern Time) U.S. President Joe Biden signed the new $1.9 trillion stimulus plan. 

By 3:39 pm on Saturday, March 13th – only two days later – the checks were "in the mail." 

That was the time that Alaska USA emailed its customers to start watching their accounts for their $1,400 payments: 

Alaska USA has your back! In anticipation of the next round of stimulus payments from the IRS, you're getting your payments faster! If your payment has been sent to Alaska USA, you will likely have funds available in your account over the next several hours. 

Some payments may come a little later, so please continue to refer to "Pending Transactions" in the mobile app or online banking to determine if your direct deposit has been received.
