Tuesday, May 18th Press Release From The Gakona Fire Department

Contact the Fire Department:
jasonsevers@icloud.com

Because of the good response this morning for this opportunity to purchase a raffle ticket, we’ll be at the Gakona Fire Station this evening selling tickets to all who are able to attend and make the transaction (rather than making individual visits …).  If that fits with your schedule, great; but if not, please let us know and we’ll find another time and place to make your transaction.

Hello All -

The Gakona Volunteer Fire Department is holding a raffle fundraiser to support our on-going community fire department operations and are offering raffle tickets for sale at $10 each.

Each ticket purchased affords you the opportunity to win one of three great prizes on June 26th, 2021 at our annual Gakona VFD Fundraiser event held at Gakona Community Park, however, you need not be present to win.  The three prizes to be awarded are:

  1. a Sauer 300 Winchester Magnum
  2. a 1-day fishing trip (for two people) with New Skies Alaska
  3. 1 cord of spruce firewood, cut and split

If you are interested in purchasing a raffle ticket or two, please respond here and we’ll work it out.  Thanks for your consideration and your support of the Gakona VFD!

Sincerely,

Bruce and Kari Rogers, Gakona Fire Department
