Cases Keep Rising In The Copper River Valley
Bad news for the Copper River Census Area. The state of Alaska, which keeps comprehensive data from Copper Valley zip codes, released new figures of local Covid rates on Monday, November 1st, 2021.Twenty-one more local people in the Copper Valley got Covid over the 3-day weekend. They were spread among 4 different Copper River communities.
In that period of time, CRNA closed at 4:30 pm on Friday and was not open to take testing on Saturday or Sunday. People go to Anchorage and other places for testing, in addition to testing in the Copper Valley at CRNA, Cross Road & Mount Sanford Tribal Consortium.
Last week, CRNA reported 24 cases in the region for that week.
