Kenny Lake Can Accept Whole Quarters Of Caribou From Public To Feed Local Kids

On Monday, December 6th, 2021, Kenny Lake School put out a call for caribou haunches and garden vegetables – the fresher the better – to feed local children through its volunteer parent operated meal program. Contact Sarah Nelson at 795-5138 if you have any questions.

The school wrote:

The Nutrition program at Kenny Lake School is in need of Caribou meat. We can accept whole quarters and would like them as fresh as possible because we process it ourselves and cold age it at the school.

We can also accept store-bought meat as well. In addition, we can accept vegetables from your gardens. They can be washed but not processed.
