Five Bears Under California Home Wake Up. No Wonder Residents Heard Snoring All Winter!

 Mama Bear & Four Cubs Have Been Snoozing Away For Months, Grumbling & Snoring...

On April 22nd, a family in Lake Tahoe, California, finally realized what had been causing the low rumble near their home all winter long. They had been hearing the snores of a mama black bear and four cubs. 

 

The five bears had been hiberating under the home in the crawl space. The cubs were yearlings. Nobody knew they were there until they all emerged a few days ago.

Lake Tahoe has a population of around 22,000 people. It's a scenic area where gambling is prominent. Part of the lake is in Nevada and part is in California. 

 

Most people have seen Lake Tahoe in the movies; it's the lake where Michael Corleone in the Godfather lived when he left New York City – and where Michael's brother, Fredo, was drowned.
