"A Lot Of Calls From Customers With No Internet"

For the second time in less than a week, Copper Valley Telecom cut a line, taking down the internet for an extended period of time.

On Tuesday, June 7th, at around 2:30 pm,  a line was cut. It killed services in the Edgerton area, "including Gakona and Glennallen," according to the CV Telecom Help Line.

“I’ve had a lot of calls tonight from customers with no internet,” the Help Line representative told the Journal at 7:30 pm on Tuesday.

All internet-related services had been down 5 hours. The Help Line said it did not know when the internet would come back that day, but it came back online before 9 pm.

Last week, on Thursday, the same thing happened. A line was cut, bringing down service for much of the day, the Copper Valley Telecom Help Line said.
