Dora Hughes, Althea's granddaughter, sent the Country Journal a photo of Althea with rhubarb jam and canned salmon, sent to her by friends. The photo was taken by Althea's daughter, Robyn Crone. The salmon was from Ruby Oatman. 

Ken and Althea Hughes were long-time residents in the Copper Valley. Ken Hughes passed away in April, 2021.
