HOW TO GET SERVICES IN ANCHORAGE

For all its loud and combative Assembly fights, the city of Anchorage actually has a comprehensive and easy to access system of Covid testing, vaccinations and services available to the public. Many services are provided in conjunction with ordinary stores and supermarkets. The drive into Anchorage takes around 3.5 hours.

There are numerous places you can get help in town. Walgreens, Costco, Fred Meyer, the airport... Some places are backed up right now with demand, but there are many, many options offered.

The Anchorage Municipality website offers extensive choices for you to view where you can get help.  Here's a look at three pages on that site: "Testing," "Vaccines" and "Monoclonal Antibodies."

Go to the site. We've provided links.

If you're having trouble with the city's site, they say to call 907-646-3322 for assistance in signing up.
