McCarthy Road Open To 2-Way Traffic

The roadway is now open to two-way traffic. Cones delineate the road edge and speed is reduced through the affected area. Please drive carefully.

Alaska DOT&PF crews will continue to monitor for further settlement activity and design work for a permanent repair is beginning. We will update the community when further work takes place.

Our thanks to the quick work of the Tazlina maintenance crews and staff for a tremendous job done well in a very quickly changing situation!
