Covid In Alaska Reported On A Comeback: July 2024

 July, 2024: Alaska Experiencing Summer Covid Case Increase 

The state of Alaska is one of many that is said to be experiencing an uptick in Covid. 

The state epidemiologist, Joe McLaughlin, recently told Alaska News Source that numbers are up. It's not as bad as last winter, but can affect the elderly especially. 

In Anchorage, people are more likely to "mask up" in places like Costco this week than in the recent past. Anchorage clinics are also instituting programs to have patients mask if they feel ill when entering the clinic.
