Richardson Highway MP 97-106.5 Resurfacing
PROJECT OVERVIEW:
Work has begun and will take place daily from 6 a.m. to 6 pm. Work includes: culvert replacement, ditch work, paving, and bridge work on the Tazlina and Klutina River. Bridge work is expected to continue through the end of July 2026.
TRAFFIC IMPACTS:
Flagger and pilot car operations through mid-August, with delays up to 20 minutes.
WEEKLY WORKLOAD:
The contractor has completed work on the Tazlina Bridge for the season. The contractor has poured the curb on the downstream side of the Klutina. Next week, the contractor will switch to the upstream side.
Next season, the contractor will continue to work on the bridges by performing deck repairs and polyester overlay.
