Darn That Ice Dam!
July 31, 2021: The National Weather Service has put out a warning that the ice dam up the river from Tazlina has broken through and the river is flooding downstream – something that will last through Sunday, August 1st.
If you live in Tazlina, flooding is nothing new. This happened last year, too, on August 19th. And many years before that.
