30-Year-Old Copper Center Man Charged By Troopers With Assault & Multiple Strangulations

Troopers Say Victim Was Family Member & Lost Consciousness

On 01/16/2023 at approximately 2324 hours, AST received a 911 call from a female who was crying, screaming for help and requesting troopers near mile 91 of the Richardson Highway in Copper Center. 

Investigation revealed Dale Reotman, age 30 of Copper Center, had strangled a family member twice during an assault. During one of the strangulations the family member lost consciousness but was cleared by medical personal with only minor injuries. Dale was arrested for Assault 1st/DV, Assault 3rd/DV and Assault 4th/DV. Dale is being held at MAT-SU Pretrial on a $5,000 cash bail and a $2,500 unsecured bond.
