Driving Intoxicated With Revoked License, Say Troopers

On 03/17/2024 at approximately 1953 hours, Alaska Wildlife Troopers were conducting Saint Patrick’s Day high visibility enforcement patrols in the Glennallen area and initiated a traffic stop on an SUV for a broken headlight.  Investigation revealed the driver, Robert Dunning, age 26 of Valdez, had an outstanding warrant for failure to remand on a Palmer DUI conviction.  

Further investigation revealed that Robert was intoxicated and was arrested for DUI, driving with a revoked operator license, and failure to use an ignition interlock device.
