Delta's Longtime Local Ambulance Service Will Terminate On Friday, February 21st At Midnight 

...In Its Own Community  

Delta Junction Has Had A Fully-Functioning EMS System In Which Fort Greely and Local Ambulances Worked Together

Delta Medical Transport served the Copper Valley for a number of years, but left the valley on July 1st, 2024 and was replaced by Copper River EMS. 

Crowds Of Delta Residents Comment & Go To Public Meetings 

The Delta Medical Transport ambulance service, which served the Copper Valley for a number of years before being replaced by Copper River EMS, will be closing down for good in Delta, its home community. 

Many parts of rural America are being affected by a systemic breakdown of the medical system – including lack of doctors and medical personnel and closed and part-time clinics, far from hospitals. 

Currently, some Delta Junction residents are concerned about large ore trucks and military equipment on their highways and their potential for accidents on the roads.
