7 Days After Major 2-Car Crash Near Glennallen, Troopers Submit Informal Report
Troopers Sent Information On January 21st
FROM THE COUNTRY JOURNALOver the weekend, a worker at Ahtna, Inc. told the Journal that she had heard that there'd been a head-on collision on the Richardson Highway near her workplace. Ahtna is at Mile 115 Richardson. There was concern that Troopers hadn't reported the incident, and that people must had gotten badly hurt. The Journal reviewed Trooper dispatches and did not find any mention of a crash.
The Journal wrote to the Department of Public Safety. After receiving a two-line notice, we got this second expanded version about the incident a few hours later on the 21st of January. There are apparently no further details at this time.
