Multi-Car Crash Due To Poor Visibility, Single-Vehicle Crash In North Pole

On 2/19/26 at approximately 1435 hours, the Fairbanks Alaska State Troopers responded to a multi-car crash at mile 351 of the Southbound lanes of the Richardson Highway.  The crash was a result of poor visibility due to blowing snow, multiple agencies responded, including EMS and the traffic was temporarily diverted to a safer route.  No injuries were sustained.

On 02/19/2026 at approximately 0257 hours, Alaska State Troopers in Fairbanks responded to a report of a single vehicle motor collision on Badger Road at Plack Road in North Pole. Investigation revealed the driver of a red SUV was distracted when they left the road and struck a light pole. No injuries were reported.
