Tom Duck & Harry

Editor's Note: David Mudrick and his wife Pat are longtime friends from Junior High. They came to Alaska in 1986 to spend late summer, fall and winter in the Copper Valley. True to form, this was exactly the opposite of what typical Alaska travelers do. David's many cartoons have trailed along behind him for his entire life, following him wherever he goes.  He was making them when he was 12 years old and he's continuing to this day.  "Tom Duck & Harry" is different from the series of David's Alaska-themed one-liners we've been running –"Too Far North" – which were originally in the first version of the Copper River Country Journal. The "Tom Duck & Harry" comic strip is (slightly) more philosophical. And pretty deep, considering it's about a bunch of talking barnyard animals.
