Troopers Make An Arrest For DUI At Mile 12 Edgerton Highway

79-Year Old Tonsina Man Charged With Felony DUI & Felony Refusal To Submit To A Chemical Test 

The Alaska State Troopers said that on June 27th at around 10:25 pm, they ran a traffic stop on a blue Chevy Astro van near Mile 12, Edgerton Highway.

Troopers said that Marvin Noffke, 79 of Tonsina, was "operating a motor vehicle after consuming alcohol." 

Noffke was arrested. Troopers said he was transported to the Glennallen Post, and booked on charges of Felony DUI and Felony "refusal to submit to a chemical test."

Troopers said Noffke was held without bail, and they said that he has two prior DUI convictions – one in 2020 and one in 2017.
