Federal Subsistence Permits will be available to Federally qualified subsistence hunters beginning July 12, 2021, at the Bureau of Glennallen Field Office, Mile 186.5 Glenn Hwy.
New applicants, please call the BLM Glennallen Field Office on weekdays, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at 907-822-3217 for more information or to schedule an appointment to get your permits.
Please note: BLM will be closed Monday, July 5 (Fourth of July holiday, observed).
If you would like permits this year and have been issued a Unit 13 Federal Subsistence Harvest permit from BLM for moose or caribou anytime in the last 3 years, please call the BLM Glennallen Field Office between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at 907-822-7328 or 907-822-7319 to update your information. Your 2021 permits will be mailed to you. Please have your current hunting license available to provide your license number.
New applicants need to bring your State of Alaska Resident Hunting License, your State of Alaska Driver’s License or photo ID, and a third proof of rural residency that shows your physical address, such as a voters registration card, phone, or electric bill. When you arrive at the Glennallen Field Office, please wait in your vehicle and staff will meet you to collect the needed information.
