Tazlina Fire Struck Several Businesses

When Tazlina Trading Post burned down on December 20th, 2020, it was statewide news. Black smoke from the fire billowed into the sky, and was visible for miles. Along with the loss of the popular longtime business, owned by the Horrell family, two other places were also burned to the ground.

A beauty salon, Kendra's Kreations, and a craft store, Case De La Arte, both were destroyed, too. They were part of the complex, and physically attached to the Trading Post.

By September 1st, both Tazlina Trading Post and Casa De La Arte were being rebuilt.

Tazlina Trading Post's new building is under construction on the old Tazlina site. And Casa De La Arte has its new building well underway in Glennallen.
