Trooper REDDI Report: DUI Charged At Mile 60 Of Glenn Highway Near Chickaloon

On August 29, 2021 at approximately 2322 hours, AST received a REDDI report in the area of mile 60 of the Glenn Highway.  AST contacted Rene Ewan, age 23 of Copper Center, behind the wheel of the REDDI vehicle.  Ewan was found to be under the influence of alcohol with a juvenile present in the vehicle.  She was placed under arrest for driving under the influence and endangering the welfare of a minor.  Ewan was released with a summons.
