On Tuesday November 14, 2023, Tamara Sue Lozano passed away at her home in Boise, Idaho. She was 62 years old. Tamara was born May 7, 1961. She is survived by her two sons Christopher and Nicholas, her dog Lolli, and her cat Tom Tom.

Tamara faced all of life’s adventures and obstacles with an unflinching spirit of tenacious and irreverent optimism. Life never gave more tests than it did to Tamara, but it could never keep her down. Tamara didn’t know how to give up, even if she wanted to. Her unapologetic enthusiasm will remain an everlasting inspiration inside the hearts of everyone she touched on her journey.

She chased her dreams from the forests of Oregon to the coast of California and from the glowing skies of Alaska to the fields of Idaho, leaving an eternal trail of sparkling memories and loving friends in her wake. She lived a life any explorer or adventurer would be envious of.

Tamara captured her love for nature, animals, and vulnerable things with her photography, painting, and carving. She was especially fond of painting large and heavy rocks, which she insisted on lugging across country several times.

Her sense of adventure and her spirit of stubborn independence will live on with her two sons. They will be forever grateful for the patience and persistence she taught them.

Tamara Sue Lozano will be lovingly remembered as the brightest and loudest smile in the room.

A celebration of life for Tamara will be held online on January 27, 2024.  Details of this online event will be posted to Tamara’s Facebook page, as the event date approaches.
