Thankfully, Fire Reported By Troopers In Mentasta Was Not A Dangerous One, Says Mentasta Village Council

On February 1, 2024 at about 11:39 AM, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a structure fire in Mentasta. Troopers responded and found that a single story residence had burned. The residence was a total loss. There was no one injured in the fire. Criminal activity is not believed to have been a factor at this time.
