Dry Creek On The Richardson & Porcupine Creek Campground Near Slana Have Been Closed So Far This Summer

Dry Creek Will Be Opening Soon, According To The State 

Dry Creek Campground is due to open up for the summer. A listing by the state of Alaska says the campground is due to open July 11th. Dry Creek is "Glennallen's State Campground" and is north of Glennallen across from the Gulkana Airport. 

Porcupine Creek, on the Tok Cutoff near Slana is not listed as opening up and will apparently remained closed until further notice. 

Campgrounds in the Copper River Valley that are open to the public include Liberty Falls in Chitina, Lake Louise Campground, and Squirrel Creek Campground, on the way south toward Valdez, state charts show.
