Copper River EMS has now fulfilled its vision of a 100% local ambulance service comprised of both local volunteer responders and local Full-Time paid lead medics.
Having full-time Lead Medics who are also full-time local residents has many significant benefits such as local knowledge, vested interests, and meaningful contributions outside of their on-call medic shifts.
