Brothers Win Big In Arctic Winter Games

 Arctic Winter Games Champions, Joe & Daniel Rodgers Have Ties To The Copper Valley 

Daniel and Joseph Rodgers, grandsons of Kathy Stratton, a longtime Copper Valley resident, have done it again. The boys represented Team Alaska at the Arctic Winter Games in Whitehorse earlier this month.

The brothers won big.

Daniel won the gold in the arm pull, the silver in the Alaska high kick, and two fair-play awards. Joseph won silver as all-round MU17 athlete, silver in knee jump, bronze in Alaska high kick, and bronze in the two-foot high kick.

The brothers even went on National Canadian TV.
