On June 28, 2026, at approximately 7:35 p.m., Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a white Saturn SUV. During the stop, VPSOs contacted the driver, identified as John Riley. Riley showed signs of impairment, and following the investigation, he was arrested for Driving Under the Influence. He was transported and remanded to the Glennallen Trooper Post without incident.
