Name Confusion On Ballots Isn't That New, Actually  

It's As Alaskan As Whale Blubber & Berries 

For some families in Alaska, running for office is obviously a family affair. Two married Republicans from Fairbanks – Frank and Harmony Tomaszewski – are both running for seats on the 2026 ballot this summer 

Harmony is running in the August 18th primary as a candidate for the Alaska House of Representatives, District 34. Her husband of 30 years, Frank, is running for Alaska State Senate in District Q.
