Driving Under The Influence Arrest, Troopers Say

On 09/09/2026 at approximately 2028 hours Glennallen AST conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near mile 116 of the Richardson Highway for a Driving While License Revoked Violation.  Investigation revealed that the driver, Quentin Bentzin age 28 of Fairbanks, was driving while under the influence of alcohol and driving while having a license revoked for a prior DUI conviction.  Bentzin was placed under arrest for DUI and transported to Glennallen AST post where he was held on a $500 bail per the statewide bail schedule.  Quentin was also issued citations for Driving with a Revoked Driver's License, Driving in Violation of a License Limitation, and for open container.
