Rollover Of Oregon Man Due To October 9th Early Morning Black Ice, Troopers Say

On 10/09/2021 at approximately 0016 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a single-vehicle rollover with possible injuries at mile 8 Tok Cutoff near Gakona.  Investigation revealed the Uhaul box truck, driven by Michael Martin of Oregon, departed the roadway in black ice conditions and came to rest on its side approximately 100 feet down a steep embankment.  Michael was uninjured in the collision.
