Update:
On 10/9/21, after further investigation, AST positively identified two more suspects in this case. As a result, Shane Champagne, age 37 of Tok, who was in custody on a separate case, was remanded at FCC on charges of Burglary 2nd Degree, Theft 2nd Degree, and 4 counts of Vehicle Theft 2nd Degree. 

The third suspect, India Douthit, age 28 of Fairbanks, was unable to be located by AST. Charges have been forwarded to the DAO and an arrest warrant has been requested for Douthit for charges of Burglary 2nd Degree, Theft 2nd Degree, Tampering w/Physical Evidence, Solicitation, and 4 counts of Vehicle Theft 2nd Degree.
 
Original Dispatch:
On 10/5/21, at approximately 1530 hours while investigating a burglary case in Tok, AST located a snow machine that was identified as being stolen in a separate, unreported burglary. 

Tok AST identified Brian Franzi, age 33 of Tok as a suspect in the case. Later that night, at approximately 2100 hours Tok AST located Franzi while responding to a separate suspicious circumstance call. Franzi was found to be in possession of items related to the burglary in Slana, including a 4 place snow machine trailer and a stolen snow machine. 

Franzi was subsequently arrested on 10/5/21 and remanded at FCC on 1 count of Theft 2nd Degree (By Receiving). After further investigation, on 10/7/21, Franzi was remanded on 1 count of Burglary 2nd Degree and 4 counts of Vehicle Theft 2nd Degree.
