Man In Trapper Creek Gets Stuck In Deep Snow With No Survival Gear, But Is Rescued When Calls For Help

On January 14, 2022, at approximately 1722 hours, Alaska Wildlife Troopers received a call from a stranded snow machiner who was a few miles off the roadway near 18 mile Petersville Road.  The caller advised they were unable to walk back due to the deep snow. Additionally, they stated they did not have any survival gear with them. 

Talkeetna Fire Rescue was dispatched and at approximately 2028 hours, made contact with the rider who was transported back to his vehicle.
