On 2-25-2022, the Alaska Wildlife Troopers completed a joint state & federal investigation into hunting activities for sheep, bear, moose, and marine mammals in several areas of Alaska.
Two unsealed Dall sheep were surrendered and Andrew Renner, age 44 of Palmer, was subsequently was issued mandatory appearance summonses into Glennallen court for the following offenses: fail to seal Dall sheep GMU 11, submit false Dall sheep hunt report, take sub-legal moose GMU 12, fail to salvage moose meat, fail to salvage moose antlers, and submit false moose hunt report. Steven Renner, age 71 of Palmer, was issued a mandatory appearance summons into Glennallen court for submitting a falsified moose hunt report.
