Burnaby, Canada Steps In To Take On The Role Of Anchorage
IN NEW ABC TV SHOW...
The Newspaper "Journalist" Is Hilary Swank
The "Alaska Daily" Is Not The Anchorage Daily News
And The "City Of Anchorage" Is... In Canada
Filming for an Alaska-themed ABC show began a month ago, on August 8th, 2022 in Burnaby, British Columbia. Burnaby is on the Canada-U.S. border, near Washington State.
The show follows Hilary Swank (the tough-chick Hollywood actress) as she wanders around Anchorage getting used to her new northern life.
The trailer for the show gives a glimpse of Cook Inlet, with the city of Anchorage behind it.

Alaska Daily, which is due to premier only one month from now, on October 6th, is apparently working with the Anchorage Daily News on the project.
The ADN is listed as one the show's "production companies" on the show's website.
