KCAM Reports 28.5 Inches Of Snow

December 13th, 2022:

KCAM reported this morning that it had recorded twenty-eight and a half inches of snow from Sunday night through Monday afternoon when it stopped snowing.

The Country Journal talked to Scott Hill at KCAM on Tuesday afternoon as he was looking back at historical measurements, trying to see if this had been a record snowfall for 24 hours. Because the weather records are based on a blending of amateur and regional measurements, it was difficult to tell. But it certainly is a near-record snowfall for this time of year.
