Glennallen Plays For Third Place Saturday at 11 am

Tikigaq was ahead by 17 points at halftime and things looked dire. But Glennallen had an amazing comeback in the second half. Glennallen narrowed the lead to two points –  but, in the end, the Tikigaq team (last year's state champions) held its ground.

The Tikigaq team is from Point Hope, on a peninsula north of Nome, way out in the Arctic Ocean.

The game ended with Tikigaq winning with 40 points to Glennallen’s 35. 

Glennallen plays Susitna Valley tomorrow at 11am, with third place in the Girls' State 2A Championships on the line. You can listen to the live broadcast on KCAM 790AM.
