Glennallen Takes Fifth Place in 2A Girls State Championships

Strong Showing By The Glennallen Team 

Lost To Su Valley By Only One Point

It was a squeaker on Saturday, March 18th at the State Championships, when Su Valley outlasted Glennallen 36 to 35 in the consolation round.  

Glennallen led in the third quarter by 10 points.  The teams were evenly matched and traded leads several times in the 4th quarter.  

These two teams were very familiar with each other. They had played three times earlier in the season, with Glennallen winning the last match. 

It was that prior Glennallen victory that led to the State Championship contest.
