(Copper River Country Journal)

Not long after Moose Creek was beaten back with an additional culvert and pipes, it is once again flooding – and forming a large shallow lake at the western end of Glennallen.

The Bureau of Land Management compound on the western end of Glennallen, the Glennallen Library and Legislative Information Office, and various other buildings are surrounded with fast-flowing water.

Unseasonable snows and precipitation have added to the problem. Although there are pools of water elsewhere to the eastern end of town, the flooding that surrounded the bank and IGA has not come back.
