On 07/08/2023 at approximately 2017 hours, AST contacted a vehicle near mile 101 of the Old Richardson Highway. The driver was identified as Penny Johnson, age 55 of Copper Center.
Investigation revealed Johnson was under the influence of alcohol. Johnson was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and transported to the Glennallen State Trooper Post. Johnson provided a sample of her breath resulting in .130 BrAC.
Johnson was provided a date to appear in court and released to a sober party.
