On 07/10/2023 at approximately 1656 hours, AST in Glennallen was notified of a 44 year old male who crashed while paragliding near the top of Sheep Mountain. 

The male suffered an ankle injury and could not self-rescue. The Alaska Rescue Coordination Center responded due to the steep terrain. The male was successfully extracted from the mountain and was taken to MAT-SU Regional for further medical treatment.
