Incident Happened At A Healy First National Branch, Troopers Say 

Hucksters Were Driving A Toyota Prius With Temporary Tags

On 8-24-23, Parks Highway Alaska State Troopers received a report from the bank in Healy that there were people trying to sell what appeared to be fake gold to one of their customers.  

The people left the bank in an unknown direction without taking the apparent fake gold before AST arrived.  A search of the area was unsuccessful to locate the people trying to sell fake gold to people.  The people were driving a Toyota Prius with a temporary tag that did not belong to that vehicle.
