Gulkana Contact. Unlawful, 1st Degree, Troopers Say

On 09/23/2026 Glennallen AST responded to the village of Gulkana for a report of unlawful contact and violation of conditions of release.  Investigation revealed that Luis Elias, age 33 of California, violated conditions of release stemming from the original domestic violence crimes of Assault in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th degree and Assault in the presence of a child by returning to the residence of and contacting the original victim.  Elias was placed under arrest for Unlawful Contact in the 1st degree and Violating Conditions of Release.  Elias was transported to Glennallen AST where he was held until arraignment.
