This is a live view of the lightning strikes that occurred by 7pm Sunday afternoon in the Copper Valley as a series of thunderstorms rolled across the region.
A concentration of strikes hit just south of Lake Louise area. There was a flurry of strikes north of Lake Louise also, near the Alphabet Hills – as well as along the Wrangell Mountains. East of Wasilla in the Talkeetna Mountains, lightning also hit the ground in multiple strikes.
