On 07/18/2021 at approximately 1259 hours, Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle being operated by Corina Ewan, 39 of Glennallen. AST had just been in contact with Ewan who was intoxicated and advised not to drive. Investigation revealed Ewan was operating a motor vehicle after consuming an alcoholic beverage. Ewan was arrested, processed, and released to a sober adult with a later arraignment date.

On 07/18/2021 at approximately 1259 hours, Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle suspected of being operated by an intoxicated driver. A passenger, Erickson Sanford Sr., age 53 of Mentasta was intoxicated and failed to follow the directions of a peace officer. Investigation revealed Sanford was out on conditions of release, prohibiting him from consuming alcoholic beverages. Sanford was arrested for Violating Conditions of Release and held at Glennallen post pending arraignment.
