Over 5 Times Worse Than Valdez & Cordova 

Once again, the Copper River Valley is listed on the Department of Health & Social Services Covid map as the most contagious spot on the road system. This is the third week in a row. 

The "case rate" for Alaska as a whole is 319.11 per 100,000 residents. In the Copper Valley, that number is 666.90.

By comparison, Valdez and Cordova, which make up the "Chugach Census District" have a very low reported Covid rate: 118.5
